I uv ooh!

My sweet little babe uttered these three BEAUTIFUL words to me today. Someone other than his mommy (or daddy or brother) might have passed them over as babble, but as LJM stood at the door and waved bye-bye to his mommy, he very sweetly smiled, looked up and said, "I uv ooh." I immediately squealed, stepped back in the doorway and asked his Daddy if he heard. Not too worry, he said it again, while Dad was listening, and yup, it was pretty clear to us what he was saying. Even sweeter, I bent over to kiss him and he puckered right up for me. How awesome to be leaving and have that kind of farewell??? I was in HEAVEN. Still am. For a tot of few words, none are sweeter.
I couldn't stop laughing when L ran out of his brother's room wearing one of his helmets a few days ago. This was the first time he actually let J put it on his head, and to see them running around together - one in an aggie helmet, the other in a cowboy helmet - was so much fun! They are really starting to play, really PLAY, together and 97% of the time, they do nothing but laugh.

As is proof by this HUGE giggle caught on camera. This little dude is pretty much on the go all the time, so I don't get as many "smile and look right at the camera" type pictures of him. But I get GREAT action shots! I uv ooh too, Lovebug!!!!

Flag Football

Now that school is out, I can post some highlights from the McD's first season of Flag Football. There was lots of fun involved, a little bit of frustration (on mommy and daddy's part...lol) and LOADS of great memories that we will forever cherish. Overall, JWM gave his experience two thumbs up, and said that yes, he would like to play again in the fall. I'm praying the games aren't ALL at 9 a.m. next time, as I'm sure all the grandparents are too!!!

SOOOOOOO close! The infamous "stopped on the 1 yard line run." J was devastated. So was I. And so begins the roller coaster ride of competitive sports.

Our little center. Dad doesn't want J to think this is the only position he can play, but it was a GREAT place for a timid, first-timer to start out. Most of his teammates had played 2 or 3 seasons and were older.

Getting his trophy from Coach Tony after winning their SuperBowl. I do think we ended up 4-4 for the season, but to win the last game was GREAT! J insisted we put the trophy on our mantel. Being the good Mom that I am, I agreed. For a month. It comes down next Tuesday.

Loving his trophy and his little bro.

So proud of our BIG 5 year old!!! WAY TO GO BENGALS!
