The boys and I made the beautiful, scenic trip to Marble Falls for the Pumpkin Patch at Sweet Berry Farms with the Kinder, First and Second grade classes at Sterling. It was SO much fun! The kids had plastic pumpkin races with old-fashioned water pumps, they shucked corn, went on a hayride, walked through a maze and had pumpkin races! A full day for sure, and both of my boys were pooped when we headed home.
My two punkins. It was a bright, sunny day for sure!
Walking through the maze. Big brother claims he got us out, but who is leading who here? ;)
Shucking some corn old school style.
That is J on the right. He ran through the arch, loaded his pumpkin, and ran back, declaring himself THE WINNER! lol
Later in the week, we made our annual trip to the "Pumpkin Patch" that is held every year at a church just blocks from our house. Thanks for the cute shirts Nana! The boys LOVED them!
L refused to let go of his cars, but still managed to pick out a pumpkin just his size.
Sweet brothers.
