First order of business, height and weight check. L is up 1/4 of an inch to 20 1/2 inches long, and up a WHOLE POUND to 7 lbs 15 ozs! No surprise...this kid likes to eat. Dr. H commented on how it didn't seem like L was missing any meals. LOL!
Of course, as soon as his diaper came off for the weight check, the pee-pee came out. J only peed on me twice the entire time he was a baby, no kidding. L pees or poops just about every time we take a diaper off of him. And he sure did mark his territory at the doctor's office today! Thank goodness Grammy drove in for the day to help out - I needed wipey assistance and of course, someone to make sure J wasn't getting into anything during the chaos. (Daddy went back to work yesterday AND is super sick today. He had to take himself to the doctor so he couldn't come with us.)
L got a clean bill of health from Dr. H and we will go back in a couple of weeks for his one month check. J had fun because not only did he get a sticker today, he also helped Dr. H with baby brother's exam. And took the opportunity to make mommy blush. When asked by Dr. H if J was feeding his baby brother pizza, J said, "Nope. Just milk." Dr. H said, "Are you sure? No chocolate milk or anything?" J said, "Nope, just regular milk from Mommy's chi-chi's!!!!" Dr. H didn't skip a beat, and just asked J another question. Guess he hears things like this all the time...but I am pretty sure I was a bright shade of red at that point! At least these fun comments from J will give me more to blog about!
Here we are after our big outing to the doctor's office. Do we have cute boys or what? I'm so in love!
And here is sweet L, very, very sleepy after his big day. Luckily, he only got a heel stick today for a blood draw. No shots until next time.
